Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery Counties Real Estate. Tips for home buyers, home sellers by Gita Bantwal,Realtor at Re/Max Centre Realtors.: I am glad I can show homes to buyers who called last night because of open houses.

I am glad I can show homes to buyers who called last night because of open houses.

I received a call from out of town buyers that they want to look at homes today. I looked up the mls for homes for sale and am glad that there are several open houses .

I do not have to make appointments to show these homes . I have also called the offices to show homes that do not have open house .

It made my job easier because even if some sellers do not want to show homes on short notice atelast there are several homes I can show.

This is one reason I have open house for my listings.

It makes it easier for agents and buyers.

Hi Gita.  Open houses make it easy to schedule showings.

Showing during open houses makes it easy but sometimes it is complicated when several families are looking at a house at the same time.

Open houses also allow an agent and their buyer to leverage their time. I recently sent one of my buyers to check out 3 listings he wanted to see that were having open houses. While he did that, I was previewing 3 others that he wanted to see. Then we met to discuss all 6. Open houses do help generate more showings.

Gita: Open houses are a good way to showcase the property and get lots of traffic through.  I hope your new buyers put in an offer today on a property they see.

Barbara, Thank you. I hope they will buy quickly.

Conrad, I agree.

Roy, I like to have several families at my open house at the same time as it creates a sense of urgency if a buyer wants to buy.

Jeff, I agree they generate more showings.

Anita, Thank you.

Hi Gita,

Nothing like getting with the program with earnest. Buyers want things and they want them now. You go girl.

Have a fine day in Bucks County, Pa.
