November 27 is Pins and Needles day

I do not know who started this or when they first named November 27 as ' Pins and Needles  Day ' . I just read it in the carrier Pigeon , a monthly free magazine that I receive. Check out www.theuptightsuburbanite.com. It is interesting to see that they have something for each day of the month of November . Subscribe to my blog or follow me if you wish to be reminded of all the interesting holiday.

When you read about events please check the year for the event as some people find information a year later and think it is for that year. . The posts remain online even after the event.

Good morning Gita. For those who will venture out to the malls today, parking will indeed have them on Pins and Needles! Enjoy your day!

Good morning Gita. This one is a bit unusual, hard to believe that there is a pins and needles day, what will they think of next. Maybe it is because of Black Friday.

Gita - I would agree with Wayne.  Venturing into the malls anywhere will have you on pins and needles.

Good Friday morning Gita Bantwal-

Pins and needles day.  Now this one is truly a new one as well as an odd to me. I guess it would apply to those in a shopping frenzy on this Black Friday.

Gita, wonder what this day is all about?   Being on pins & needles?  Being nervous?

Gita: I am sure there are plenty of Black Friday sales...no reason for consumers to be on pins and needles.

Pins and Needles Day, how interesting. Where do these things come from?

Hello Gita, Pins and Needles sounds interesting but not sure what it is.  Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

John. most people think it is named because of Black Friday.

Joan, I agree with others who said it has something to do with Black friday.
