February 22 is International World Thinking Day

February 22  is International World Thinking     day. I read about it in Carrier Pigeon, a free magazine that I receive in the mail each month. They have something special for each day of the month.  Read my blog tomorrow if you would like to know about what we will be celebrating tomorrow. Have a good 2019.

When you read about events please check the year for the event as some people find information a year later and think it is for that year. . The posts remain online even after the event.

Gita: I wonder who comes up with all these days. If not already in-place, a real estate professionals day needs to be created! ;-)

Hi Gita... as long as I don't have to travel abroad today, I'm good with the thinking part! The only question is what should we be thinking about?

I think the world should do some thinking more often than one day a year.

International World Thinking Day is celebrated by Girl Scouts, Girl Guides and other girl groups. The original objective of this day was to set aside a day for girls all over the world  to think of each other, and to give thanks and appreciation to "sister" Girl Scouts and Girl Guides. Over the years, it has been expanded to include the opportunity for girls (young and less young) to learn about health issues that affect girls and young women.
